Science Council Brief Nro 2: Member Information Needs

In an era of increasing demand for accountability, performance measurement, and management for results, Members of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) repeatedly articulate the need for more evidence that documents the impacts of their investments. In response, the Science Council’s Standing Panel on Impact Assessment (SPIA) and the Future Harvest Centers of the CGIAR have produced many ex post impact assessments. But does this information actually affect Member decisions? If so, how?
